Denise Glenn
Denise began the MotherWise ministry in 1981 when she had three preschoolers. From a prayer time 
with one other mom, this ministry has grown to include women from all across America and around the world. Denise has been featured on Family Life Today/Campus Crusade for Christ radio programs, Josh McDowell’s radio broadcast, Winning Walk radio and television programs, the Family Enrichment Television series, and numerous other radio broadcasts around the world, including a national radio program in Nairobi, Kenya. Denise has trained MotherWise leaders around the world, including Russia, Korea, Indonesia, Kenya, Ukraine, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Viet Nam, East Asia, the Philippines, Austria, and Australia and is a sought-after speaker internationally for women's conferences, meetings and retreats.
Denise has authored four Bible studies and a book that was released in 2005. Her Bible studies include, Wisdom for Mothers, Freedom for Mothers, Restore My Heart, and Keeping the Secrets of Women. Using her own mothering experiences from infertility to three teenaged daughters to married children, Denise blends her warm personality with the ability to clearly define Biblical truths. Her entertaining speaking style endears her to women as she shares personal stories and uses creative visual aids to teach women about God's Word. Denise combines deep spiritual insight with the ability to relate practically to each woman in her audience. Her written materials are in-depth Bible studies, but are written so that Bible students of every level can enjoy learning and growing in Christ.
The Glenn's have three beautiful married daughters and are enjoying adding grandchildren to the family. To date, they have eight darling grandchildren, under the age of eight. Denise and her husband, David, made an international move to Indonesia in the summer of 2003, staying for two years, and we welcomed them home to Houston in the summer of 2005. It would take a book to tell all God did during their two years in Indonesia…so they wrote one! It’s titled Keeping the Secrets of Jesus and was published in July of 2005.
Most recently, David and Denise made another international move to Perth, Australia, again with David’s job. They are already active in their church, Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, where they are teaching their Bible study courses.

David Glenn is a petroleum geophysicist and co- founder and President of Kardo International Ministries, the non-profit umbrella of MotherWise. David is a warm, genuineWest Texas man’s man, who shoots straight when speaking to men. This grandfather has learned in the trenches and is willing to share what he haslearned with other men. Married to Denise, they frequently speak at FatherWise/MotherWise retreats, parenting conferences, and other events. David is the author of Wisdom for Fathers and Freedom for Fathers, companions to Wisdom for Mothers and Freedom for Mothers.
