Jenni McCollum
Jenni McCollum currently serves on the Board of Directors for MotherWise. She also teaches Young Married's in her home church, Second Baptist, in Houston, Texas. Jenni has been involved with women’s ministry for several years in different areas, from starting new ministries to teaching weekly women’s Bible studies. Some of the many Bible studies she has taught include Wisdom for Mothers, Freedom for Mothers, and Restore My Heart .
Jenni began working with MotherWise over 20 years ago.
She took Wisdom for Mothers as a young mother, and even helped with the exercise classes. God began moving their family around the country and Jenni found that taking
MotherWise along with her, was just the tool God wanted to use to help her reach out and meet new people, and to share the gospel with others. But, God also had other plans for Jenni. It was through her moving experiences and the starting
up of Bible studies that God began to grow the gift and desire to teach His Word. Most recently, Jenni has delighted in the privilege of following God's call and taking His Word to places in Asia, Dubai, and Germany.
Married to Mark for 27 years, they have two children. Matthew is 23 and recently married Courtney, the girl of his and his parent's dreams. They are beginning their new life in Plano, TX. Madeline is 21 and a student at Belmont University. It has been Jenni and Mark’s delight to see their children grow in the Lord and follow after Him.
It was at the age of 15 when Jenni became a Christian, after the mother of a dear friend explained that Jesus desired to have a personal relationship with her. It has remained her desire to share that passion with others and to offer her home as a place where Jesus can be found, and to be that Mom that is ready to share the love of Christ to any who enter.
