Diane Daniel
Diane Daniel is the Mid-South Regional Representative for MotherWise. She lives in the tri-state area of Memphis, Tennessee, bordering Mississippi and Arkansas. Diane has lead break out sessions at MotherWise National conventions in Atlanta, GA, San Antonio, TX, and Brunswick, GA. She has enjoyed speaking at Ladies' retreats, MOPS groups, and church special events for MotherWise. Diane has been a representative for MotherWise ministries for 9 years.
God gave Diane a heart for missions when she was a young girl through Girls in Action in her church. God has also given Diane a passion for teaching and encouraging women of all ages in their walk with the Lord. She has been a Ladies' Sunday School teacher and Bible study leader for over 20 years. Diane began teaching MotherWise Bible studies after her women's ministry director sent her to a conference with Denise Glenn in Houston, TX in 1998. God pricked Diane's heart for ministry with mothers and she has been teaching MotherWise Bible studies for over 11 years. Diane attends Grace Evangelical Church in Germantown, TN and teaches in the Women's Bible study ministry.
Diane grew up in the Memphis, TN area and has been married to her husband Jerry, for 35 years. She has 2 grown children; Elaine, age 30, and Craig, age 24. Elaine and her husband, Will, are on staff in youth ministry at Grace Evangelical church. They have two children, Emma, age 5, and Jack, 2 yrs. Being a grandmother is a highlight of Diane's life and has brought her a new awareness of God's role in being a godly mother and grandmother. Craig and his new wife, Missy, married in June 2009 and they will begin serving together on staff for Campus Crusade for Christ at The University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) in the Fall of 2009.
Diane has a degree from the University of Tennessee in Dental Hygiene and works part time. Diane has been able to use MotherWise in unique mission fields outside of her church. She took dental health education along with MotherWise to the mission field in Siberia, Russia, in the summer of 2006. Diane also teaches at The Moriah House, a local Christian shelter for hurting and abused women in the West Tennessee area. Diane loves using MotherWise to share great truths from God's Word with women of all ages!
