Proclamation of the Skies

“The heavens declare the glory of the God, and the sky proclaims the work of His hands.” Psalm 19: 1-6
Here in South Georgia it has been raining for almost a week! One could really use a canoe to get around some parts of our town. Unfortunately some have even been flooded out of their homes!
But even in the midst of torrential downpours, gentle showers, and steady sprinkles, every now and then I have watched the skies break open ever so gently as if Someone were pulling them apart. I have been able to see dashes of blue streaked behind gray clouds. And every now and then I have even seen a bright burst of sunshine come peaking through the gray masses all around!
Whether it’s clouds, blue skies, or sunshine, I am reminded that our God is the creator of all, and that the sky can be a constant reminder of His power, His beauty and His faithfulness to us.
No matter what your sky looks like today, as you gaze upwards, remember the One who painted it just for you!
